Welcome to the AVA Members’ Area! We’re delighted that your organisation has signed up to our AVA Membership scheme and we hope you enjoy the benefits that brings. As part of the membership, we aim to bring you new blogs to read regularly on issues affecting communities locally and the voluntary sector nationally. We also hope to showcase groups or activities across Aberdeenshire that may be of interest to you. As a member you will be able to add your thoughts and comments at the bottom of these blogs, and we welcome your input.
If you have a few spare moments to browse around the members’ area of this site, you will find some Members’ Profiles which provide summary information and contacts for local organisations - your fellow members of AVA. The Community Toolkit is an excellent resource in our members’ area, providing extensive information on sources of funding, setting up a community group, governance of your organisation, information for volunteers, community planning across Scotland…and loads more. The Toolkit is regularly kept up to date and we can’t recommend it highly enough - it really is a brilliant source of information and we hope you find it useful.
