During this volunteers’ week AVA is delighted to shine a spotlight on the achievements of our own volunteers who contribute so much at our Magpie shop. Magpie is a not-for-profit second-hand furniture and goods shop that exists to promote a more sustainable way of living - providing the Aberdeenshire community with the chance to reuse, recycle, upcycle...and find a unique bargain. Our volunteers make such a difference and without them we couldn’t do what we do; we currently have 9 volunteers supporting Magpie, between them they have been volunteering for an amazing 72 years and every week they contribute 55 hours of their time.
