Communities deserve to have their voice heard and their needs addressed. We ensure communities are heard by encouraging accessible, inclusive ways for communities to share their stories, ideas, concerns, and experiences with decision makers. We advocate for meaningful dialogue and joint decision making.

How we connect communities

Volunteering Network
Our Volunteering Network provides peer-led support for all aspects of volunteering, from promoting opportunities to advising groups on taking on and managing volunteers, the network promotes best practice and inclusivity.

Social Enterprise Network
Our Social Enterprise Network brings businesses together who are seeking to change Aberdeenshire for the better. Like traditional businesses they aim to make a profit but it’s what they do with their profits that sets them apart – reinvesting or donating them to create positive social change.
Our Health & Social Care Network connects third sector organisations to share expertise, coordinate services, and drive collaborative solutions; it aims to enhance integrated care, community wellbeing, and collective voice across local health priorities.

PeEr-led recovery network
Our Peer-led Recovery Network enables organisations who support people in addiction recovery to offer shared experiences, mutual encouragement, practical guidance, and community connection, fostering resilience, accountability, and long-term wellbeing within a safe, understanding environment.
