Aberdeenshire Voluntary Action (AVA) is delighted to announce the launch of our £50k Supporting Communities Fund as of Tuesday 19th May. AVA is seeking to disperse awards to voluntary organisations across Aberdeenshire, working in partnership to respond to Covid-19.
Eligible organisations can apply for funding awards of up to £1,250 to help support their activity related to Covid-19. The application process is simple and fast, designed to get help out to those who need it as soon as possible.
We are very excited at being able to financially support the amazing work going on across Aberdeenshire by voluntary groups both new and existing that have rallied in responding to Covid-19 in their villages and towns. Working with volunteers as we do on a daily basis we are staggered by the capacity of our communities to support vulnerable people at this time, and our aim is to help them to do this.
Closing Date for phase I of applications is Tuesday 30th June 2020 (or when the fund has been fully allocated, whichever is sooner).
