This part time role (0.6fte; 21 hrs per week) is offered on a 6-month basis, and is to be based in our Ellon Office (Monday to Thursday only).
Aberdeenshire Voluntary Action is Aberdeenshire’s Third Sector Interface. We support Aberdeenshire’s volunteers, charities, communities and social enterprises to deliver sustainable impacts by representing at strategic level, and facilitating at operational level.
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Database Administrator to this temporary position. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who is aware of the importance of the role of the third sector in Aberdeenshire life. Initial training on our specific database (Salesforce) will be provided and ongoing support will be available, however experience of working with databases and GDPR compliance is required as is a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programmes.
The successful candidate will build effective working relationships with our internal team as well as key external stakeholders including AVA’s growing membership. They will also undertake a range of administrative duties including updating and maintaining our management information systems, generating general and management information reports, and responding to queries via multiple channels (including in person, phone, email and social media).
